My love for nature is all inclusive and I have always been fascinated by the wildlife. Though at times, observing human behavior I am inclined to think if it is we human who are wild and not the ones we call wildlife! As I continued with my collages, I experimented with various themes, ideas, visuals and stories. I now have over 50 such collages. I have earlier posted collages depicting landscape and nature. In this edition I would like to offer some of the collages that highlight the wildlife in their natural habitat.
I cannot claim that these are true representation of jungles and wildernesses of our planet, but they are part of my imagination filled with colors and shapes that I often see and wish the world would see too. These collages are also meant to serve as reminders for us city dwellers that it is up to us to keep our world green and full of natural splendors and there's no better depiction of life than the so called 'wildlife'. If only we could learn from them. Therefore with hope and humility I present the following -
A forest full of trees with tigers lurking not necessarily hungry |
Oceans are vast and unfathomable. We have much to learn from the sea |
Perhaps African wilderness is somewhat like this... |
Such roads do criss cross many forests around the world, I wonder how many of us venture out |
